# Team Members

> Invite team members to your agency. Members automatically get access to all client accounts with role-based permissions.

Invite colleagues to help manage your agency. When you add a team member at the agency level, they automatically get access to **all client accounts** with the same role - no need to invite them to each client individually.

## How It Works

Agency team membership uses a hierarchy model:

1. You invite a team member to your **agency team** with a specific role
2. That member automatically inherits access to **every client sub-team**
3. Their permissions across all clients match their agency-level role

When you add a new client, existing team members can immediately access it. No extra setup required.

## Inviting Team Members

1. Navigate to **Agency > Team** in your agency dashboard
2. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite
3. Select a role (see below)
4. Click **Add Team Member**

The invitee receives an email invitation. If they already have an account, they can accept and start working immediately. If not, they can create an account and accept the invitation.

  If you have a custom domain configured, send invitations while on your custom domain so the invite link and registration flow use your agency branding.

## Roles

| Role              | Permissions                                                              |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Administrator** | Full access to all client chatbots, settings, and team management        |
| **Editor**        | Can view and respond to messages in the inbox and update chatbot answers |
| **Member**        | Can view and respond to messages in the inbox                            |

All roles apply across every client account in your agency.

## Managing Team Members

From the **Agency > Team** page you can:

* **Change roles** - Click the role name next to a team member to update their permissions
* **Remove members** - Click "Remove" to revoke a team member's access to the agency and all client accounts
* **Cancel invitations** - Cancel pending invitations that haven't been accepted yet

## FAQ

**Can a team member have different roles for different clients?**

The role assigned at the agency level applies to all client accounts. If you need someone to have access to a specific client only, invite them as a [client user](/agency/client-management#inviting-client-users) instead. Client users are scoped to a single client workspace and cannot see other clients or agency settings.

**Do team members count against any limits?**

No. There is no limit on the number of team members you can invite to your agency.

**Will team members see the agency dashboard?**

Yes. Team members can see the agency dashboard, switch between client accounts, and perform actions based on their assigned role.
