If you run an agency on SiteSpeak, onboarding a new client used to mean clicking through the dashboard: create the workspace, set the limits, build the first chatbot, send the invite. Fine for client number three, painful for client number thirty.
Now your billing system can do all of it. The new Agency API lets you provision and manage client workspaces programmatically, so a signup in your own checkout can become a fully branded, ready-to-use chatbot workspace before your customer finishes reading the confirmation email.
One API call creates the client workspace, their first AI agent trained on their website, and a portal invitation that lands on your own domain. From there you manage the whole lifecycle:
- Set per-client limits for AI agents, knowledge sources, monthly message credits, and response length, so your plans map cleanly onto your pricing.
- Raise or reset credits mid-cycle when a client upgrades. Their new allowance applies within seconds.
- Pause or suspend clients when your billing provider reports a failed payment or cancellation. Hard pause stops their agents immediately; soft pause lets remaining credits run out first. Resume brings everything back in seconds, and nothing is ever deleted.
- Look clients up by your own billing reference, so your systems never need to store ours.
Every write endpoint takes an idempotency key, so a retried call never creates a duplicate workspace or double-charges a client action.
How it works
Your checkout or billing webhook calls the API with the client's name, plan limits, website and email. SiteSpeak creates the workspace, trains the first agent on their site, and returns an invitation link signed for your custom domain. Your customer clicks it, sets a password on your portal, and lands in a dashboard carrying your brand.
