BookStack has been one of our most used integrations and adding it as source enables your agent to be trained on content from your BookStack wiki and then use that information to respond to visitor queries.
We've now added a BookStack action which allows your agent to query your wiki in real-time and retrieve information that can be used to respond to visitor questions.
To learn more about configuring the BookStack action, check out our tutorial.
As part of this update you can now also enable your agent to display the sources used to answer the visitors question (Appearance -> Display Sources In Messages) and update the localization of the tooltips used in your chat messages (Settings -> Localization -> Tooltips).

Big update to SiteSpeak AI support agents!
The chatbot component and website has received some big improvements and lots of new features are now available to make your AI support agents even more powerful:
File Attachments - Your visitors can now upload images and files to your chatbot when chatting for the chatbot to use in resolving queries or responding to questions. A great example of this is having a user submit a screenshot of an error or issue they are experiencing and having the chatbot use that together with it's knowledge base to resolve the users issue.
Actions & Tools - You can now add powerful actions and tools to your chatbot that lets it do much more than just chatting. For example, you can configure a Cal.com action that lets your visitors make bookings in your calendar right from your chatbot, or a Paddle.com action that lets your subscribers get information about their upcoming invoices and subscriptions. Or add the Shopify action for direct integration into your Shopify store's products and orders.
MCP Server Support - Connect your chatbot to any hosted (SSE) MCP server. This allows your chatbot to communicate with virtually any service that you can create an MCP server for. For example, weather apps, sending emails, controlling smart devices, pull information from Twitter accounts, anything you can do with an MCP server.
Custom Suggested Messages - As part of the actions, you can add AI generated suggested messages. This is great for prompting your users with follow up messages when they are discussing specific topics like pricing or technical issues.
Command Pallete (command / ctrl + k) - A small update, but a great productivity hack when you're administrating multiple chatbots and need to quickly switch between chatbots / sections. Pressing Command (or CTRL) + k will open up a command pallete to quickly navigate to a different section in the chatbot administration screens.
Auto Popup Welcome Message - Display your welcome message as a popup floating / bubble on your site above your chatbot launcher button. This increases engagement with your chatbot. To enable this, go to Appearance -> Auto Popup Welcome Message
Improved Inbox experience - The inbox is now faster, and includes the conversation categories (if set) so you can easily get a summary of what each conversation is about.
Gradient themes - We've added a few gradient themes to the Accent Color settings for your chatbot to help give your chatbot a fresh new look. You can still manually enter a HEX color code as well to exactly match your brand colors.
Swedish and Turkish language support - Added support for two new languages to ensure your chatbot always responds in the set language.
