AI Search Bar and Page Context Awareness

Big update today 🥳

You can now set your AI chatbot agent to display as an AI Search Bar at the bottom of your page. This works especially well for technical documentation and other documentation heavy websites allowing users to get relevant answers about the current page with the benefit of any additional knowledge you've used to train your chatbot still available.

To enable this for your agent, select Configuration -> Appearance from the sidebar and then select the new Search Bar option. You can also set the placeholder message for the search bar and update the styles.

Once you've saved the changes, the new AI Search Bar will be displayed everywhere you've added the SiteSpeakAI code snippet.

The chatbot will receive information about the current page so that it can answer visitor questions with the most up-to-date and relevant information.

If you want to continue using the default Chat Bubble display and not switch to the AI Search Bar, you can still take advantage of Page Context Awareness by enabling this option under Configuration -> Settings for your chatbot.

Your chatbot will then be able to use the current page context together with all training knowledge to respond to your visitors.

This also means you can simply install an untrained chatbot into your site, and it will use the page content to respond to visitors. Easy!
