How It Works
Agency team membership uses a hierarchy model:- You invite a team member to your agency team with a specific role
- That member automatically inherits access to every client sub-team
- Their permissions across all clients match their agency-level role
Inviting Team Members
- Navigate to Agency > Team in your agency dashboard
- Enter the email address of the person you want to invite
- Select a role (see below)
- Click Add Team Member
If you have a custom domain configured, send invitations while on your custom domain so the invite link and registration flow use your agency branding.
Roles
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Administrator | Full access to all client chatbots, settings, and team management |
| Editor | Can view and respond to messages in the inbox and update chatbot answers |
| Member | Can view and respond to messages in the inbox |
Managing Team Members
From the Agency > Team page you can:- Change roles - Click the role name next to a team member to update their permissions
- Remove members - Click “Remove” to revoke a team member’s access to the agency and all client accounts
- Cancel invitations - Cancel pending invitations that haven’t been accepted yet
FAQ
Can a team member have different roles for different clients? Not currently. The role assigned at the agency level applies to all client accounts. If you need a team member to have limited access to specific clients only, you can invite them directly to individual client teams from the team settings page instead. Do team members count against any limits? No. There is no limit on the number of team members you can invite to your agency. Will team members see the agency dashboard? Yes. Team members can see the agency dashboard, switch between client accounts, and perform actions based on their assigned role.Ready to automate your customer service with AI?
