Add a BookStack action to your AI support agent

Find out how you can add BookStack actions to your AI support agent to allow your agent to respond to visitor queries from your wiki.

Note: Adding the BookStack integration is still the preferred option to training your agent on your BookStack content since this results in faster responses from your agent: https://sitespeak.ai/help-center/training-your-chatbot/training-your-custom-gpt-on-bookstack-wiki

To allow your AI support agent to retrieve information from your BookStack wiki, you can add the BookStack: Search Wiki action to your agent.

After selecting the action to add, you will need to update the Description (optional), and set the Wiki Url (this should be in this format exactly: https://wiki.mywebsite.com), Access Token and Token Secret. You can find more information about obtaining your Bookstack access token here: https://demo.bookstackapp.com/api/docs.

Note: Please make sure the API user has the "Access System API" permission enabled on one of their assigned roles. This will ensure SiteSpeak can retrieve information from your Bookstack wiki.

You can now click on the Add Action button to add and enable the action for your AI support agent.

Your agent will now be able to assist visitors with information from your BookStack wiki.
